Teach Old Dog New Tricks
My old PC with Windows 98 and a Celdon 600 was quite fine with me as I only used it to send E-Mails to my son and daughter or some others when necessary but rarely. The other thing I do with it was to read news on the net. Now, with a new HP lap-top, a fast, powerful Mobile AMD Athlon XPM processor 3000+, operating at 1.6GHz which my son told me that I could do a lot of things with it and he set up things for me to learn and use. Without any prior knowledge or skills, I kept pesting him when I got stuck or lost, as I gingerly begin doing the “home works” he assigned me. He must be quite annoyed. To teah an old dog new tricks, as people say, is very difficult.

It’s not annoying at all… it’s actually pretty inspiring that you are making the effort to learn this stuff. A lot of the computer stuff is quite confusing and arbitrary. Plus, this is good practice for me to become a teacher some day
